The City of Cottage Grove charges fees for various services. These fees are passed by the City Council via ordinance and are consolidated in a single fee table. Generally, a new ordinance is passed annually to amend these fees at the beginning of the calendar year; in the interest of transparency, this ordinance includes all city fees, whether they have been amended or are simply carried over from the previous year. Occasionally an individual fee or fees will be amended by City Council ordinance during the calendar year if the need arises.
