Glacial Valley Park
Glacial Valley Park will open in 2023! Cottage Grove's newest community park will include sports fields, basketball/pickleball courts, a large playground, picnic areas, an ice skating rink, trails, and open space to enjoy. The park will also include a 4,000 square foot building that is designed for multi-use programming/rentals, outdoor connections, and sustainability by utilizing solar and geothermal energy systems. Glacial Valley Park is a key link to a large ecosystem managed by the South Washington Watershed District and MN DNR which includes over 200 acres for their central draw watershed. This area includes native landscapes, waterways, trails, and a future interpretive center that all contribute towards preservation and protection of our land and water quality.
