Election Judges

Election Judges Needed!
We are seeking eligible voters to work as Election Judges at the 2020 Primary and General Elections on Aug. 11 and Nov. 3. Election Judges are paid $12 per hour for attending a mandatory two-hour online training session and for time worked on Election Day. Election judges may also serve by volunteering their time. To qualify to work as an election judge, you must:

  • Be a 18 years of age
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be a Minnesota resident
  • Not have your voting rights revoked
  • Read, write and speak English
  • Attend a two-hour training session
  • Be able to work from 5:45 a.m. until all work is cojfischbach@cottagegrovemn.govmpleted after the polls close at 8 p.m. (16 plus hours)

You cannot be:

  • The spouse, parent, child or sibling of any election judge serving in the same precinct
  • The candidate or the spouse, parent, child, or sibling of any candidate on the ballot in that precinct
