Alarm Systems Ordinance Amendment 
City Council approved an amendment to the Alarm Systems Ordinance, changing it so businesses that 
have alarm systems are no longer required to license them unless they have a false alarm.

Sale of Surplus Property
City Council authorized Public Works to advertise and sell surplus property (2002 Mercury Grand Marquis, 2001 Chevrolet K1500 Extended Cab, 1991 Billy Goat Blower, and 1995 Turf Sod Cutter) on Cranky Ape or eBay.

City Council authorized issuance of a massage business license to HY LLC DBA Deep Tissue Bodywork at 8063 Hadley Avenue South.

Cottage Grove Ice Arena Locker Room Expansion
City Council authorized a lease agreement with South Washington County Schools to expand the Cottage Grove Ice Arena with the purpose of adding additional locker room space.
City Council accepted donation from the East Ridge Face-Off Club in the amount of $301,504 to expand its locker room space at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena.
City Council authorized staff to proceed with the East Ridge locker room expansion project at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena for a project estimate of $301,504.
City Council authorized the public locker room expansion at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena for $100,376.
City Council authorized staff to enter into agreement with RVK Architects to perform architectural and construction management services for the approved locker room expansion project.
